Social Housing North West Building Service Provider seeking a social housing Building Surveyor in Liverpool.

Job Title: Building Surveyor (Social Housing)
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Salary: £35,000 basic salary + car allowance + flexible working hours + bonus + additional benefits

Your new role
This is a varied all encompassing Building Surveying role with a mixture of responsive and planned maintenance. Working in partnership with Liverpool based social housing co-operatives main duties of the role include:

  • Acting as a key point of contact within assigned customer portfolio in regards to building maintenance issues
  • Day to day reactive repair works and carrying out condition surveys
  • Producing drawings and carrying out measured surveys
  • Preparing and submitting applications for consent to Local Authority planning and Building Control Departments, Fire Officers, Licensing Justices, Freeholders etc. as applicable
  • Managing a programme of repairs and maintenance works to voids properties
  • Cyclical inspections of residential properties or planned maintenance works (typically window, door replacements etc).
  • Compiling a monthly report on Microsoft Word to summarise monthly maintenance on properties


What you'll need to succeed
The successful Building Surveyor will have experience of working within the social housing sector and hold a relevant building surveying qualification. The role will suit someone who likes a varied role, they do not operate multiple building surveying teams, the Building Surveyor will work across both planned maintenance and responsive repairs. You must be customer focused and a teamplayer with a basic knowledge of Microsoft packages (MS Word).
