Leading Scottish Builder seeks Senior Site Manager/Project Manager to join the team.£10million

Your new company
Our client are a leading developer and builder who have wide interests across the Scottish property market. With a recent set of project wins in Edinburgh they are seeking to appoint a PM or Senior Site Manager to join their team to deliver a project due to commence in January. They are seeking to appoint over the next 8 weeks to ensure sufficient time is available for pre - construction planning and logistics.

Your new role
This project is a block of apartments based near the city of Edinburgh and will have a total build cost of approx £12million. The method of construction will be timber kit with a high end facade finish in line with the surrounding area. As Project Manager you will be No 1 onsite with a small team reporting into you including an Assistant Site Manager and direct labour.

Reporting to the Construction Director you will be fully responsible for ensuring all construction works onsite are completed in line with the programme and associated policies such as quality , heath and safety etc. You will be expected to be reasonably autonomous and will have the ability to drive operations forward while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as client ,design team etc.


What you'll need to succeed
Our client are looking for someone who has worked as as site manager or project manager on residential projects in Edinburgh. You enjoy planning and executing project plans and building a positive culture on your project and you have a collaborative and positive management style. You will have deep construction knowledge and understand how to build efficiently on similar projects such as this. You will be building in close proximity to other builders so you must be experienced at planning complex delivery schedules utilising cranes etc.
