Your new role
Our client is looking to recruit a Construction Buyer to support the estimating and contracts department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement of goods, materials, and plant to meet the programme and commercial requirements of the project in line with the projected budgets.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience as a Buyer with a proven track record of working in a similar role
• Previous experience within the construction sector is essential
• Coins experience preferred but not essential
• Sound knowledge of IT systems and be fully conversant with Microsoft office/Excel
• Good analytical skills and the ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong commercial awareness, a measured approach to decision making and the ability to ensure best value procurement.
