Senior Site Engineer (Heavy Civils)

Hays Civil Engineering are working alongside a National Civil Engineering Contractor with a huge reputation within the Civil Engineering sector. We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join an outstanding, and unique project in North Wales

You will be joining one of the most unique projects in the UK; this is a £250m project, with a programme of works over 6 years

As a Senior Site Engineer, you'll come from a Civil Engineering background, and ideally have experience working on large Civil Engineering projects previously. Reporting into the Site Agent, key aspects of the role will include:

• Settingout
• Using GPS / Robotic Instruments
• QA
• Completing the site diary
• Subcontract Management
• Preparation of RAMS
• Site Co-ordination
• Permits
• Supporting the Sub Agent with RFI's & TQ's

You will ideally have a Civil Engineering related qualification; ideally BEng or HNC/HND, and must possess previous experience as a Site Engineer on Heavy Civils biased projects. You will also ideally have experience working on shafts on Complex projects

This is a site based role in Gwynedd, North Wales, and is being recruited for on a permanent basis. They will not consider freelance options for this role. This is a £250m, 6 year project in the heart of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the UK

Accommodation on site will be available from March 2023
