Estates Manager, Permanent Role Suffolk, Flex/Agile Working, Salary up to £53,000

We are pleased to be working with a local authority in Suffolk who are looking to recruit an Estates Manager to lead their property team. You will join and lead a high performing and growing team that manage a large commercial and investment portfolio across the region with significant ambition for increasing returns and making a series of strategic investments. The organisation manages over 400 property and land assets across a range of sectors including; retail, commercial, offices, historic assets and entertainment venues

Your new role
You'll be leading a small and commercially minded team of Estates Surveyors, dealing largely with commercial, mixed use, retail, industrial and investment properties across the region. The Estates Manager will be responsible for owning and delivering the organisation's Asset Management Plan, providing expert and strategic advice, carrying out development appraisals, dealing with investments, acquisitions, disposals and resolving complex property negotiations. You will also be supporting with the delivery of a range of development projects and investment work across the district.

What you'll need to succeed
The Estates Manager will be qualified / chartered (RICS) and have expert knowledge of managing a diverse commercial and operational property portfolio, as well as dealing with a range acquisitions and development projects. You'll be dealing largely with commercial, mixed use, retail, industrial and investment properties across the region and will be providing expert and strategic advice. As a highly commercial and financially aware Estates Manager, you will have experience of managing a team of Estates Surveyors and support staff.
