Working for the successful local regional office of one of the country's leading housebuilders. With a reputation for quality and customer satisfaction they have enjoyed a strong year and with an additional 4 sites starting in the coming months are continuing to thrive. Typically working on multiphase traditional build developments projects are spread across the Kent area. Due to a recent internal move a position has now been created for an assistant site manager to join an ongoing award winning scheme in East Kent (Near Sittingbourne)

Your new role
As Assistant Site manager you will be part of a 3 man site team reporting to the site based project manager, With approximately 70 units to handover and an additional 25 still to build the role will be a mix of internals and externals with an initial focus on 1st fix to handover. Responsibilities include the day to management and sequencing of subcontractors, quality control, health and safety and the various weekly progress and safety paperwork associated with a volume developer. You will also be expected to call off materials and be comfortable working with the customer care team once units are completed.

What you'll need to succeed
You will come from a housebuilding background, ideally medium to large. and be comfortable looking after your own units without supervision. You will hold valid first aid, cscs and SMSTS qualifications and have experience of taking units from 1st fix through to cml handover and onto customer care. You will be looking for a long term, permanent role and be comfortable working in the Kent area for the foreseeable.
