Contracts Manager

Contracts manager - New build Private housing schemes, Kent. Permanent, Immediate role, £competitive.

Your new company
A Long established Construction group with several successful business streams seek an experienced Contracts manager to strengthen their Residential team. Working from their Sevenoaks office projects are spread across Kent and typically high end private residential developments of up to 50 units. Coming from an extremely strong financial position they run with 5 live sites currently with planning applications pending for 3 new projects. They have an experienced site management team, a stable sub-contractor supply chain and a strong pipeline of work already programmed. They now seek an experienced Cm to help support the existing senior team and add some greater structure to compliment the growing workload.

Your new role
Working closely with the directors you will be directly responsible for all site based operations, overseeing the current live projects and assisting with pre-construction activities for upcoming schemes. You will be assisting with all strategic and technical decisions within the business adding your experience & advice to the current processes. You will have experience with programming, client liaison, Design co-ordination (with support), overseeing site management teams and generally reporting on progress. You will also work closely with a Senior QS and have overall responsibility for costs.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Contracts manager or above and be comfortable running multiple projects as head of department, you will be Kent based and have clear experience within the private housebuilding sector. You will be available to start a new role within the next 2 months (ideally sooner) and be looking for a long term permanent role where you will be a key member of the team moving forward, helping to shape company policy and strategy
