Hays are delighted to be working with the UK's leading Commercial Property Consultancy, they have an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join their Milton Keynes office. They have over 10 offices across the UK and a large team of surveyors in France. Our client is incredibly reputable with clients such as BlackRock, CBRE and Hermès. Their Milton Keynes office is based in a beautiful modern building, central and well situated for easy access.

Your new role
As the new Building Surveyor you will be managing the full life cycle of building surveying projects for a wide array of commercial projects. You will be the key point of contact for a range of clients throughout the region. You will manage a full range of building surveying instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, retail and industrial. As well as conducting professional work such as Schedules of Dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, due diligence including development monitoring, party wall awards, defect diagnosis, planned preventative maintenance reports, reinstatement cost assessments and schedules of condition reports.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will ideally have your RICS qualification, or equivalent, relevant experience and strong communication skills. You will be reliable, conscientious with commercial awareness. In addition to this, it is key you have a positive attitude, effective time management skills and ability of manage own workload within required deadlines.
