Your new role

As a Administrative Assistant, you will provide key support to a particular medical field in the trust. You will be using a patient record system for most of your role, ensure you are covering and carrying out reception roles, booking and arranging appointments and many more administrative roles. You will be required to keep records of patient's personal details so confidentiality and integrity in this job are key. In the role of Administrative Assistant, you will learn various new processes and interact with different job roles which will be a key part of your learning and development through your NHS career.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to thrive in the role of Administrative Assistant you will need to have exceptional organisational skills in hand with communication and interpersonal skills, preferably gained in a similar role. You will also be able to display great attention to detail to enable you to handle patient records with in the most confidential matter. As an Administrative Assistant you will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for progression and career development.
