An assistant site manager job in Lancashire paying £40k + package for a bespoke luxury housing developer.
Your new company
You will join a bespoke luxury housing developer who focus on low volume, high quality units. All their sites are based within Lancashire in sought after locations. They are in the process of expanding their team and are making the appointment of an assistant site manager. They work very differently to the large PLC developers and work very much as a team across the business.
Your new role
You will work across sites within Lancashire reporting to a site manager. You will manage health & safety, co-ordinate sub-contractor operations and assist in managing the site team. You will also ensure the highest standards are always maintained. You will join a tight knit construction team who have a collaborative approach. Due to the smaller nature of the business you will get involved in all aspects of the projects as the role will be very much hands on.
What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be working as an assistant manager for a housing developer. If you are looking to move away from mass house building with unrealistic targets this role would be well suited. You must have a new build housing background and excellent technical knowledge. You will be keen to work for a quality developer, delivering a bespoke product. You will have relevant industry qualifications and will hold a valid CSCS card, SMSTS qualification and first aid certificate. A trades background would be desirable for this role.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 + car / car allowance, plus a generous package. You will join a bespoke house builder and will be offered future career opportunities and progression within the business.
