Project Manager - Large Residential Development

Leading privately owned residential developer requires Project Manager to deliver development in Edinburgh

Your new company
Our client are a leading privately owned housebuilder with an excellent reputation across the premium residential market. Due to commence a large development on the Eastern Fringe of Edinburgh they are seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to their ranks.


Your new role
As PM , reporting to the construction director, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of this project. This project has not yet commenced so you will get in early and ensure that project planning , build routes and methodologies are done correctly. As construction picks up you will be based full time onsite ensuring all operational activities occur in line with programme , safety and quality expectations of our client. As the project proceeds your team of site managers and ASM's will grow and you will also get close support of a well respected and knowledgeable construction manager.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is a residential building expert. You will be from a trade background and have operated successfully as a Senior Site Manager or PM in the housebuilding market in Edinburgh. This development is a mixture of both flatted developments and one off housing so ideally you will have deep understanding of multiple types of construction. You will have direct experience of working on similar large developments and have a great understanding of building a positive and productive environment onsite.
