Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for managing costs and budgets of projects including new builds, renovations, and maintenance works. You will be supporting directors in delivering business objectives and engaging with clients to maintain and develop relationships. Other duties will include, managing projects, preparing cost estimates, cost planning, advising, and implementing procurement strategies, preparing tender documentation, and managing the tender process, settling final accounts, administering contracts, and preparing reports.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have practical experience of cost estimating and planning, a knowledge of construction methods and materials, procurement strategies, and post-contract management tasks. You will be a clear and effective communicator, with strong organisational skills. You will be able to adapt to changing environments and take a proactive approach to your work. You will also have excellent problem solving, negotiating, finance and numerical management skills.
