Your new company
Specialist Groundwork, Civil Engineering, RC Frames, Architectural Concrete. You will be working with a Construction company who manage a successful groundworks company and has enjoyed consistent success over the years to flourish into one of the most established RC Frame and Groundworks subcontractors in London, turning over more than £100 million per annum.

Your new role
- Responsibility for the day to day administration of the commercial function of the Project, i.e. cost management reporting and supporting, change management, procurement as well as Sub-contract/special supplies administration
- A deep understanding of the project's contractual and commercial requirements, including contractual compliance, quality and risk management
- A thorough understanding and competent execution of the monthly reconciled values and updated forecasts for approval by the Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor
- A sound understanding around the valuations cycle and associated deadlines, prioritising and managing both your own as well as the team's time accordingly
- Confidence and competency, with minimal input from the Commercial Manager/Senior Commercial Manager with dispute resolution and contractual entitlement
- The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with and effectively interfaced at peer level with clients to agree valuations and variations
- Interface with and form productive effective relationships with the site team(s) and the client team

What you'll need to succeed
I am keen to speak to candidates with previous experience in a similar role within civil engineering, it is essential that you have experience with RC structures and Groundworks. You will have previous experience working on contracts with a full understanding of the NEC 3 suite of contracts especially options A, C, E. You will have a proactive attitude and be an excellent team player.
