Senior Draughtsman Draftsman Job Engineering AutoCAD Inventor 3D 2D Model Design Engineer
Your new company
Our client has a long-distinguished history in the construction of landmark structures around the world, particularly iconic bridgeworks and building structures. They develop, manufacture and operate the specialist technology needed for the construction of bridges, buildings, dams, refineries power stations, offshore structures and manufacturing plants. Their role on most projects is to develop solutions to construction problems, fully engineer these solutions and then work with their customers to carry out the operations.
Your new role
As a Senior Draftsman your duties will include:
- Production of 2D shop floor drawings for fabrication
- Production of 3D models & and drawings using Inventor software
- Production of animations, etc. using Inventor Software
- Liaising and working with engineers to bring the designs to life
- Preparation of sketches and drawings using computer program AutoCAD
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience as a draftsman
- Extensive experience using AutoCAD and Inventor Software in 2D and 3D
- A relevant qualification is desirable
- A proven track record of producing engineering drawings in a similar environment
What you'll get in return
Salary of up to 40k depending on experience

Please Note this role is full time working in the office in Northamptonshire and a car is essential
