Real Estate Consultancy expanding in residential sector, seeking a Housing Disrepair Surveyor. Homebased.

Job Title: Housing Disrepair Surveyor
Location: Liverpool office, homebased working optional, national coverage
Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 basic salary + car allowance + additional benefits

The Opportunity
A successful Liverpool based firm of RICS Chartered Building Surveyors practice are expanding their consultancy into the residential sector. Established over 10 years ago as a commercial independent building surveying practice and project consultancy with a wealth of success across multiple commercial sectors. Traditionally they have carried out party wall, dilapidation and schedule of condition works on major multi million £ contracts in both the public and private sector.

More recently they have expanded into the residential sector and in less than 3 months have secured over 100+ instructions for RICS level 3 Building surveys for a supported living end client. As a result of this they are looking at establishing a new team with the hire of a Housing Disrepair Surveyor. There is an excellent opportunity for career development into senior leadership within a successful SME building surveying practice.

Your new role
The role will predominantly carrying out RICS level 3 building surveys. The Housing Disrepair Surveyor will have a dedicated Administrator who is experienced in report writing to fully support in inspection reports and managing surveying appointments. Whilst this is a national role they are a supportive employer who ensure that all appointments are grouped together minimising time away from home (usually one day a week away from home) and a home based flexible working policy.

What you'll need to succeed
Assoc RICS or MRICS qualification is essential and a proven background in housing disrepair surveys.
