Junior Building Surveyor Job, Birmingham Up to £45,000 Global design, engineering & PM consultancy

Your new company

A global design, engineering and project management consultancy with multiple offices across the UK's major cities is currently seeking and an experienced building surveyor to join their Birmingham office. Presently, these services are managed regionally, and a direct and local surveying team will revolutionise the quality of the customer experience.


Your new role

In your new role you will be working across a diverse range of projects across different sectors. In this role you will be acting as a Junior/Intermediate Building Surveyor, who is ambitious and eager to develop and progress their career. You will be reporting to a Senior Building Surveyor based in the Birmingham office. You will also be involved with the following: Project Management and Contract Administration duties for projects, condition and measured surveys, designing and implementing small - medium sized projects, and performing due diligence surveys. You will predominantly be working across refurbishment schemes and the delivery of a 'net-zero' scheme.


What you'll need to succeed

This position would be suitable for a chartered building surveyor looking to move into a large consultancy firm, or someone with several years post-degree experience currently working towards chartership, who is looking to develop their career within a high profile, forward-thinking organization. You will have experience of both pre and post contract project management responsibilities and will be able deliver this service effectively to clients. You will be prepared to travel as and when is required. An experience of working with AutoCAD and Revit will be advantageous, and you will have awareness of BIM systems.


What you'll get in return

A salary of £30,000 to £45,000 is offered for this role dependant on experience.
