Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor / MQS required for well recognised Civil Engineering Contractor in West Cheshire


Hays Civil Engineering are delighted to be working alongside this experienced Civil Engineering Contractor in recruiting for a Senior QS / Managing QS to join their Commercial team

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be joining their Commercial team, working in conjunction with the Contracts Manager in delivering a diverse range of Civils schemes.

Specialising in Civils schemes with project values up to £5m / £10m, you'll be managing a portfolio of projects up to a combined total value of c.£15m

Typical duties will include:

• Procuring packages of work, and awarding subcontractor agreements
• Procurement of subcontractors
• Producing CVR's and cash flow analysis
• Measurements and variations
• Valuations and payments
• Procurement
• Stakeholder Management

To be successful in your application, you must have demonstrable experience working as an SQS / MQS for a Civils Contractor, and you must possess the ability to work on diverse Civil Engineering schemes
