You will be working for a main contractor based in Nottinghamshire. The organisation are an award winning contractor who operate in a range of sectors including; Education, Accommodation, Industrial, Commercial and Healthcare. Due to continued success in the market an exciting opportunity now exists for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their ranks.

Your new role
The position is open Senior Quantity Surveyors experience for a 25m + projects.. The role with involve cost control of multi sector projects. You will also manage subcontractor procurement through to negotiation and order placement, you will also manage valuations and payments to final accounts. The position will be working with the support of more junior Quantity Surveying on a large multiroom scheme in Birmingham.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will have a strong permanent background of working for main contractors across multiple sectors with values ranging from £10M to £25M plus. Ideally you will be degree qualified with excellent communication skills and experience of various contract forms including NEC & JCT. You will be a proactive enthusiastic candidate who is highly organised. Full UK driving licence also required. You will be initially based on site in Sheffield and as such will live in a commutable distance to Sheffield and the East Midlands.
