A well established Design and Build company who specialise in Warehouse, Offices and Retail.


Your new role
As a health and safety manager you will repost to the operations manager and review/update companies health and safety policies are kept up to standard or improve where required.
The company have ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations and ensuring these are achieved again are essential.
On the projects you will be performing audits for interns use and clients on request, these will involve a full review of H&S and procedures.
This will be a mostly autonomous role and it will be essential that the incumbent takes the lead and responsibility for the company and takes some of the workload off the senior staff who currently perform the duties.

What you'll need to succeed
As a Health and Safety Manager you will have worked for a construction firm or consultancy recently, you will have working knowledge of the procedures and policies that allow construction sites and projects to run safely and efficiently.
You will be able to review policies to see if they need updating ready for the next accreditation application or just to increase the H&S levels across the company as a whole.
You will be able to lead and direct colleagues to the work in a safe and efficient way at all levels.
