Your new company
I am currently working exclusively with a leading Facilities Management Company who are looking for a Health & Safety Compliance Officer to join their team, This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business who deliver a range of FM services across a diverse client portfolio and continue to win exciting contracts throughout the UK.
Your new role
Working within the National Compliance Team, you will offer a full range of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental support to the business. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Health, Safety, Welfare, Quality and Environmental Auditing across the business in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standards.
- Generation and Review of Company Risk Documentation.
- Generation and Review of Construction Phase Plans & Site Health & Safety Plans.
- Review and qualification of sub-contractor Risk Documentation.
- Generation and Control of Permit to Work System.
- Supporting engineers, managers, senior managers, client and sub-contractors with sound, Health, Safety, Welfare, Environmental and Quality advice.
- Carry out Accident/Incident Investigations.
- Working alongside colleagues within the Compliance Team to ensure a cohesive single message is consistently delivered to all employees, clients and sub-contractors.
This position is based out of Warrington offices but does require UK travel in line with contracts so you must be willing to travel - please get in touch for further details.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must hold NEBOSH as a minimum. Experience of working in a similar role within FM/PFI is highly desirable, however, there may be consideration for candidates who can demonstrate requirements in other industries. You will have experience carrying out ISO auditing to 45001:2018 and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
