Your new company
We are currently recruiting for a large national management and property consultancy. You will be joining a forward-thinking organisation who are recruiting due to a significant increase in growth. This role will be based within the Birmingham office in the heart of the West Midlands.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be assisting with the delivery of a vast array of building surveying services. These will include building surveys and reports, party wall matters, dilapidations, repairs & defect analysis, insurance valuations, planned maintenance surveys & schedules, design & specification writing, and contract administration. You will also be aiding with the delivery of building consultancy advice, and you will be providing support and assistance in client management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a recent graduate with BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar relevant degree, with a desire to pursue the APC to gain RICS chartership. Some experience within the building surveying industry would be preferable, as would experience of working in a busy office environment dealing with customers or clients. You will have strong organisational, communication, written, and verbal skills, with a strong attention to detail. To be successful within this role, you will need to be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and will be able to take a proactive approach to problem solving. You will be highly self-motivated, with a strong self-initiative and drive to further your career within this industry.
What you'll get in return
A salary of £22,000 to £28,000 is offered for this role, dependant on experience.
