Clerk of Works

3 month temporary contract for a clerk of works to work with a consultancy in Manchester.

Your new company
A multi-disciplinary consultancy working across building surveying, M&E design, architecture and civil and structural design. They are now looking for a clerk of works to look after a development of apartment blocks in Manchester.

Your new role
As a clerk of work, you'd be conducting regular site inspections in Manchester and checking that building plans are being followed correctly and the projects are being delivered as per the designs. This is a 3 month temporary contract that may be extended beyond that.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced clerk of works with experience working for a consultancy or contractor. You will need to be able to read and understand technical drawings and making sure that the work on site reflects those.

What you'll get in return
As well as competitive hourly rate, this is an out of scope of IR35 role so you are able to work through your own limited company. This contract may be extended beyond the 3 months.
