Your new company
This public sector organisation, based in West London is looking for an Aids and Adaptations Surveyor to join their team to help clear a backlog of cases caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Now that normal services have resumed the organisation is able to increase the size of the team to help reduce this backlog. All properties are in the West London area so you will be required to carry out inspections in person, however all paperwork can be done for either the office or home giving you a good work life balance.

Your new role
You will carry out site inspections in residential properties and project manage works which will make the properties more accessible for residents with specific needs and requirements. As part of the job you will also liaise with Occupational Therapists (OT'S) to ensure the best possible solution is found for the tenants or residents.
Types of works will include wet rooms / level access showers / grab rails in residential properties amongst other adaption works.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate it is essential that you have experience of working as an Adaptations Surveyor, unfortunately if you do have this specific experience you will not be considered for the job.
Autocad experience will be beneficial but not an essential requirement of the job.
