Long-term temp opportunity for Fire Risk Assessor' to join a large, fast paced program on council high-rise.

Your new role
As a Fire Risk Assessor you will join a large team of colleagues that are also joining temporarily to assist on the large scale project that you will be playing your part in. The council is deploying a mass surveying and recording program of building compliance matters across their mass of residential stock. This stock primarily includes high-rise accommodation.
Day to day you will:
- Have an oversight of all building safety management processes including emergency procedures of your allocated stock
- Act as the point of contact for building occupiers and residents
- Have a general duty to promote building safety and the safety of people in and about the buildings within their remit
- Review and update on an ongoing basis and update the relevant documentation/information (including key information products - digital record, Fire emergency file, Full plans and Safety Case File for the building
- Day-to day management of your buildings including contractor management related to remedial works
What you'll need to succeed
- Fire risk assessment qualification from a professional body that is UKAS accredited
- Building qualification comparable to level 3/4 related to property repairs and maintenance
- Knowledge of local government and public sector settings
- Minimum 3/5 years related to managing building risk
- Minimum 3 years completing fire risk assessments
