Covid-19 Site Leader - Birmingham - £16.50 per hour


Your new company
You will be joining a well-established company to assist with PCR and Lateral Flow testing around Birmingham Airport. You will be provided with thorough training and support ahead of starting your role. The working environment will include outdoor centres, drive-through or indoor sites based on capacity requirements.

Your new role
You will be joining as a COVID-19 Testing Site Lead will means you are responsible for supporting the site managers, leading and working alongside all team members who are on shift and ensuring they are allocated and in position on time as well as ensuring they are delivering and performing to requirements. The site lead will work a shift pattern assisting the staffing and site manager/s in the smooth running of the operation on a daily basis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead local performance of operations
- Register and monitor attendance
- Be responsible for staff behaviour and activities
- Assist with conducting staff briefing
- Communicate any problems encountered
- Ensure customer and company uniform is adhered to
- Lead and support escalation to resolve any customer queries
- Be the operational lead on all aspects of standard operation procedures of operatives role and processes
- Dynamic resources including breaks coverage
- Health and Safety Compliance

What you'll need to succeed
A keen interest in delivering good customer service & responding quickly to all patients' needs while reassuring customers. You may be required to physically stand for several hours to perform the tests and have a willingness to work outside or in portacabin settings based around Birmingham. In addition, strong communication skills are key, and the ability to adhere to clinical guidelines and operating procedures is essential. Previous experience in a similar COVID- 19 testing role, would be beneficial. You will need to show that you are a resilient and courteous individual at all times, and show a familiarity with the use of managerial interventions and managing policies in line with standard operational procedures and HR policy and processes.

You will receive full training for this role to ensure you are comfortable and competent to administer the tests, all PPE will be provided. This is a shift-based role, working across a seven-day operation, typically up to 40 hours per week, with a competitive rate of pay.
