You will join a well-established and high-quality contractor based in Altrincham who have built a strong client base over the years. They specialise in new build housing and apartments around the Manchester area. They have a tight knit team and they hold an excellent reputation within the industry. They solely work across the Northwest. They have a low staff turnover and are a family run contractors. They believe they are only as good as their people and last project. Due to company expansion they are recruiting for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor.

Your new role

You will join a small commercial team of surveyors and estimators and will be based from their head office based in Altrincham, reporting to their commercial manager. You will be responsible for tenders, producing bills of quantities, sourcing pre project information, analysing sub-contractor quotations, reporting / take offs and attending site meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

The business is open to the level of experience and will consider a Graduate or assistant QS with some experience. You will be interested in working for a smaller business who hold a strong work ethic. Client relationships are key to this business therefore you must be able to maintain and develop good working relationships both internally and externally.

What you'll get in return

You will be offered a salary of £20,000 - £25,000 (negotiable dependant on experience) + benefits package. You will receive support from the directors and as a company they are looking for someone who wants to work for their business on a long-term basis. The company are continually growing and gaining further contracts, they have always had a steady increase in turnover and as the business grows opportunities for progression and career opportunities will be available.
