SME Property management business seeking a Commercial Asset Manager in Denbighshire, North Wales.

Job Title: Commercial Asset Manager
Location: Denbighshire, North Wales
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 basic salary + car allowance + additional benefits

Your new company
A leading SME property management business with a strong roster of clients that manage buildings in prime real estate areas of the UK such as Richmond, London. They manage a range of properties across both the residential and commercial sectors. The commercial team operate across a range of sectors; office, industrial, retail etc nationally. The property team is long standing team most of which joined the business at Property Assistant level and have progressed within, something that is encouraged in the business. This role has come about due to the creation of a new team and the requirement for an experienced Commercial Asset Manager. They are open to providing support to employees through relevant property qualifications and training encouraging promotion from within.

Your new role
The Commercial Asset Manager will be responsible for the management of a national portfolio including in prime real state areas of London across a variety of sectors; industrial, retail and office space. Working as a Commercial Lead in the team alongside 2 other Commercial Property Managers, main duties include:

  • Carrying out property inspections and identifying areas for improvement and repairs
  • Managing end of tenancy dilapidation process, overseeing external contractor support where necessary
  • Liaising with existing and potential tenants, dealing with landlord and tenancy queries
  • Identifying areas to add value to existing assets
  • Managing disposals of assets and proposing viable profitable options to the business
  • Ensuring compliance with appropriate H&S and statutory requirements
  • Generating reports to senior management


What you'll need to succeed
The successful Commercial Asset Manager will have a proven background in commercial property management and have demonstrable experience in managing refurbishment works. You must be a confident communicator and teamplayer.
