Permanent opportunity for Asset Programme Manager at Housing Association in Lancashire
Your new company
You will be working for a Lancashire based Housing Association
Your new role
You will be responsible for compiling programmes of work for the housing stock, external spaces, budgetary control, design, specification and project management. You will be responsible for the compliance management of the housing association's assets. You will ensure the legal obligations are in conjunction with current legislation in relation to Asbestos and Fire Safety. You will be a supportive, active and effective member of the Asset Management Team contributing to corporate decision making policy. You will be responsible for delivery of corporate and strategic objectives, ensuring that the housing association has a positive reputation and strong track record of performance, delivery and local impact.
Your geographical area will cover Preston and Blackpool, however the role will mainly be office/home based.
You will be responsible for a team of 3- an asbestos surveyor, a property investment surveyor, and a project delivery officer.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a HNC or equivalent property qualification
You will have experience of operating at a management level in a similar role, managing budgets, delivering a programme of work, experience of managing programmes of actions arising from fire risk assessments and asbestos surveys. You will have experience of managing contractors.
You will have a full driving license and a cv demonstrating relevant experience
What you'll get in return
£45,000 per year
37 hours per week, flexible hybrid working
22 days holiday, plus additional 3 at Xmas plus birthday and bank holidays. You will receive an additional days holiday per year of service
