Senior Building Surveyor

Due to continued growth they are looking to expand their team and recruit a Senior Building Surveyor in the North West of England.


Your new role
You will join a long established multi-disciplinary team and work alongside other surveyors and senior professionals. Your workload will be varied and will cover both public & private sectors. The pipeline of work is based upon repeat basis combined with new wins, with our strength being the support of their Health, Education & Local Government clients.

You will lead & develop detailed briefs in conjunction with the client and senior colleagues, establish & maintain client relationships, support business development activities by senior colleagues.

You will carry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys & defect analysis), design and specification work and preparing tender information, administer building contracts (JCT &/or NEC), undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (including Condition Surveys, Specific Defect Analysis, PW work, dilapidation's, Access Audits & FRAs)

You will liaise with Clients, Contractors & other consultants (internal and external) and assist the team leader with project finances, recruitment, mentoring and team leadership.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a BSc in Building Surveying and MRICS/MCIOB.
You will have several years' experience of advising on commercial, healthcare or educational properties either in public or private sector. You will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and REVIT, experience of dilapidation and party wall work, will have a full driving license and flexibility to work away for short periods if required. You will be able to provide a cv demonstrating relevant experience of building surveying
