Your new role
You will lead and manage the estates, facilities management and markets team ensuring that all property in the Councils portfolio is maintained to a high standard of repair and is compliant with Health & safety legislation.
You will ensure that all rents, leases, tenancy agreements are up to date and the appropriate revenue stream is being managed in a timely and efficient manner. You will ensure all records / drawings relating to the Councils assets are up to date and that the appropriate safety and fire checks are compliant and up to date in accordance with legislation and regulations
What you'll need to succeed
You will be MRICS and come from a General Practice Surveying/ Estates management background. Experience of FM is desirable but not essential as there is a Facilities Manager in place that will report into you and deliver any projects. You will have plenty of management experience- you will be responsible for 4 Estates Surveyors and one Facilities Manager. You will be able to provide a cv demonstrating relevant experience of Estates management.
What you'll get in return
6-12 month contract- 36.5 hours per week
45p per mile for site visits
