Mechanical Project Manager

This client has had incredible success over the last decade, and this is a fantastic opportunity to join them during an exciting period of growth. They are looking for an Mechanical Engineer to join their team to work on Commercial, Residential and Education projects.


Your new role
As a Mechanical Engineer you will be working on the M&E department alongside Trainees, CAD technician's, Engineers and Senior Engineers. On this role, under a Senior Mechanical Engineer guidance, you will need to be able to manage, delegate and mentoring junior team members adopting flexible work while developing the project. We expect you to develop HVAC systems for new and existing buildings with design calculations and detailed drawings while using the adequate software. On site, we expect that you take surveys, visits and inspections according to standard project. Also, reports, drawings and specifications of compliant mechanical building services design, this includes HVAC. Have the key input on strategic design within the building service team, manage the reviews and development of standard details and ensure all compliance (on the mechanical design) is consistence.
On your new role you will work proactively and flexibly to support delivery across the professional services, with a commercial and solution focused mindset


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, having a degree in engineering, experience in the industry (preferably 5 years), knowledge in design industry processes and procurement arrangements will be playing a good part for success. You will need to have a high level of technical skill, proficiency in Microsoft office and social skills where you can build easily relationships with your colleagues and be work collaborative to help in achieving the better outcomes.
