Permanent Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Nottinghamshire, Main contractor, Manchester site visits

Your new company
You will be working for a main contractor based in Nottinghamshire working on projects in the East Midlands. The company complete works across a range of sectors including Education, Industrial, Healthcare, MOD and Commercial . They are now looking to add an Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team.

Your new role
You will be working under the Senior Quantity Surveyor on the project. Your role will involve managing the build up of costs, cash flows and budgets. You will be working closely to ensure that sub-contractors are meeting the contractual terms and placing orders. The role requires the successful applicant to assist with the completion of valuations, variations and final accounts. The role will be working on a commercial refurbishment project of an existing education building. The role will be a mixture of home, office and site based attendance as such you will need to be able to travel to Manchester for part of the week.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have between 2 and 6 years of post graduate experience of working for a main contractor. You will have strong JCT and NEC contract knowledge and excellent communication skills. You will hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel to Manchester for part of the week to be on site.
