Authorised Person - MOD Maintenance - Lincolnshire - £37,000 - £40,000 + Car Allowance


Your new company

You will be working for a contracting company, in partnership with Military of Defence bases in Lincolnshire. The company has secured this partnership for 7 years, with a potential of extension for another 3 years. This organisation has received heavy investment to ensure that the project installations are long lasting. So, therefore a very exciting time to join the organisation.


Your new role

You will be working as an Authorised Person (AP), on a MOD base in Lincolnshire. You will be overseeing compliance in relation to regulations of JSP375 - thus to ensure the safety in high risk works. Your further duties will cover; producing permits to work, standing instructions, review and update the skills register, providing technical support.

Your role will be multi-disciplinary and depending on your previous work background your strongest discipline will be focused on firstly through training e.g; Electrical (HV&LV), Petroleum and Mechanical.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need experience and suitable qualifications in either a Electrical or Mechanical subject. Alongside this you will be experience being an 'Authorised Person' (AP). You will need to be flexible and be on the on-call rota (usually taking a phone call and passing the information on to the most suited engineer).

What you'll get in return
You will get a salary of £37,000 - £40,000 per annum with a car allowance. Alongside this, you will also get 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
