Your new company
Our client are a leading architectural studio of a wider group of highly successful, fast growing property and investment companies based in Merseyside. Their model of designing, building and maintaining all their portfolio is virtually unique in the industry. This studio have a number of headline schemes which include large PRS, apartments and hotels with project values up to and in excess of 100 million. They also have great business connections and ongoing works with the city's leading universities.
Your new role
In your new role you will develop design drawings from initial feasibility studies, deliver design drawings from planning to completion and work with a small architectural team whilst coordinating the input of a wider team of other professionals such as building service engineers, civil and structural engineers, construction managers and quantity surveyors. Leading the technologist's input on as project providing outputs to the in-house construction team in a timely manner. You will also manage the technical and specification requirements for the project as well as integrating the work of supply chain partners and resolve design related technical problems that may arise during construction.
What you'll need to succeed
You are an experienced architectural technician with knowledge of the residential sector, experience with large apartment schemes is preferable. You are able to draw and communicate both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and have a strong working knowledge of Revit/Autocad/BIM. You are a good team player and problem solver with the ability to communicate with your team and external consultants to achieve successful outcomes, contributing to practice improvement initiatives and innovations to improve design, production and business efficiencies and deliver the best architectural/technical solutions.
