Quantity Surveyor

Your new company
A well established and market leading based in North Leicestershire. Typical projects will be fire proofing ceilings, walls and fixing weak points/areas that could lead to the spread of fire across buildings. 60-70% of their business is repeat, they pride themselves in being big enough to take on any job but small have an open door policy to the directors.


Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor you will take charge of the whole process including liaising with the clients for initial consultation, costing reports, producing/processing monthly applications, dispute resolution, resolving account queries and working closely with site/office teams to ensure projects are priced correctly and don't run over budget. The company specialise in only run 3 types of project, Intumescent Paint for steel work, fire stopping for compartment/interior walls and Cavity Barriers.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, experience of on site and office quantity surveying duties, excellent communication skills and experience of dispute resolution would be preferable but not essential.
You also will have experience of dealing with clients and chasing invoices related to the projects.
