Part I Architectural Assistant/Junior Design Technician

A leading multi-disciplinary building design consultancy are looking to bring on board a junior design technician to assist with a wide range of projects across both private and public sector clients. With a breadth of experience in house expertise, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress their career within architecture & design.

Your new role
As a junior design technician, you will be involved across all RIBA stages from an early stage, with emphasis placed on getting all members of staff on to site and getting involved in as wide a range of tasks as possible. You will work across multiple project sectors. ArchiCAD is the software used predominantly, however previous experience working with this is not a pre-requisite for the the role. There are lots of opportunities for progression, and support in training towards Part II studies will be considered.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to Part I level, or will hold relevant working experience to this level. You will be able to demonstrate at interview a range of project experience by way of a portfolio of works. Due to the location of the offices, a valid drivers licence and access to your own vehicle is also highly advantageous.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of circa £19,000 dependent on experience, as well as a range of internal company benefits. You will also receive support towards further studies and training.
