Senior Architect - Liverpool up to 50k
Your new company
Our client are a leading architectural studio of a wider group of highly successful, fast growing property and investment companies based in Merseyside. Their model of designing, building and maintaining all their portfolio is virtually unique in the industry. This studio have a number of headline schemes which include large PRS, apartments and hotels with project values up to and in excess of 100 million. They also have great business connections and ongoing works with the city's leading universities.
Your new role
Reporting to the practice director, you will be working closely with project managers, external professionals and the company owners, along with senior personnel and architectural colleagues to create designs from inception and delivering them from planning to completion. Having a strong hands-on technical bias you will collaborate with construction professionals to help determine the feasibility of potential projects. You will lead the architectural input within planning submissions, liaising with planning and legal advisers to discharge planning conditions on a timely basis. You will manage the technical and specification requirements for the project, integrate the work of supply chain partners and resolve design problems that may arise during construction.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified architect and a member of ARB with at least five years post part 3 and ideally some residential experience and a proven track record of success in the UK. You can draw and communicate both by hand and by using specialist CAD especially Revit as well as lead a small team of architects/technologists. You are a full conversant with UK building regulations with a strong technical ability, experience working with concrete framed buildings is an advantage. You will be able to contribute to practice improvement initiatives and innovations to improve design, production and business efficiencies and deliver the best architectural solutions.
