Permanent cleaning supervisor opportunity in central Cambridge

Your new company
Your new company is a national facilities management organisation who are looking for a cleaning supervisor to join their facilities team for a site based in Cambridge.

Monday to Friday 8 hrs per day - Usual hours will be 06:30am-14:30pm

Your new role
The Cleaning Supervisor will be expected, and not limited to, interacting with the client to ensure agreed cleaning standards are met as well as taking an active role in the completion of said tasks across the site. The supervisor will ensure that audits are performed and submitted, with any actions addressed. A key role of this post holder will be the management and delivery of scheduled maintenance tasks.. Responsibility, performance and management of the housekeeping team will be an integral role as Cleaning Supervisor.

The Cleaning Supervisor will have responsibility for a number of cleaning operatives across their shift. You are responsible for the equipment, uniform, chemical and consumables you use and are required to ensure that you use them all as instructed and with adequate care to prevent wastage and damage.


What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience of prestigious office cleaning, particularly in a corporate office environment.
• Supervisory experience preferred, particularly in a cleaning/housekeeping environment.
• Methodical and meticulous approach to work.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision to achieve and exceed required standards.
• Knowledge of COSHH Regulations.
• Excellent level of interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to sustain effective relationship.
• Motivation and flexibility.
• Ability to arrange staff adequately to overcome any staff shortages.
• Ability to constantly assess staff and look to develop and provide training as necessary.
