Your new company
A local Main contractor with a strong track record in delivering private residential schemes in the SE London area now seeks a Senior site manager for an upcoming scheme. With 8 live sites currently of between 30 - 80 units projects are typically apartment schemes targeting the mid to high end market. With Several new projects due on site in the coming months a new Site manager is needed for a challenging 10 story 60 unit RC frame development near Lewisham.

Your new role
As Senior site manager you will join the Project in the final stages of pre-construction assisting with the program, Checking for any design issues and advising on sub contract procurement, You will then oversee Site set up and Construction which will be RC frame. You will report to a visiting Operations manager and have full responsibility for the day to day running including site diary, Sub contract management, Quality control, H&S, progress meetings, Short term programming and client liaison. This scheme is being constructed in close proximity to a railway line and will therefore involve heavy liaison and compliance with Network rail, previous experience of working in similar circumstances will be highly desirable.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Senior site manager looking for a permanent role in the SE area, You will have clear experience of manager medium sized residential apartment schemes, ideally for a main contractor. RC frame experience would be desirable. You will hold valid First Aid, CSCS & SMSTS qualifications. and be available to start within the next 4 - 6 weeks
