Your new company
A long established local main contractor working across SE and central London on New build residential schemes now seek an experienced site manager to support with a recently awarded scheme. with approx. 5 schemes on site projects are typically between 10 -30 units on behalf of/in partnership with housing associations. The new project is in the south east London area and involves a conversion of an existing building into 10 new apartments, the scheme is part refurb, part new build and due on site imminently.
Your new role
As site manager you will be number one on site reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager, You will be involved in all aspects of Site management including short term programming, client liaison, upholding health and safety, sub contract management and direction, diary management etc. You will be involved in the scheme from early stages overseeing demo and groundworks right through to client handover which is expected in approx. 2 months - further similar schemes will follow.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced site manager comfortable running your own projects and have experience of small to medium schemes, you will hold valid first aid, cscs and SMSTS qualifications and be looking for a long term permanent role
