Project Planning Officer - Dundee/ Tayside - £ competitive hourly rate

As a Project Planning Officer you will be working within the contract services team to assist with the programming and updating of programs for all contracts. This role offers an immediate start and an ongoing contract.
Your new role
In your new role as Project Planning Officer you will be taking-off materials required for contracts and minor works in accordance with the contract drawings and/ or specification of works. As part of your role you will prepare programs for contracts and minor works ensuring that they meet with agreed target dates In order to ensure that all queries and problems are resolved before orders for materials are placed you will liaise and consult with relevant stakeholders including architects, quantity surveyors, and engineers. You will check the quantities required against the quantities contained within the bills of quantity. Your role will also include passing on information to the relevant parties regarding materials ordered and inform appropriate individuals of and delays that may affect the programme of works
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to have a proven track record in working within a construction planning environment. You must hold relevant industry qualifications. In addition to your core technical skills, you must have strong IT skills and be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders including contractors and design team.
