Lead Document Controller , CDE & BIM Information Manager

Golden opportunity with a London developer that is looking for someone to establish and develop their BIM document control and CDE systems. It would suit someone who has equal enthusiasm for technology, construction and efficient ways of working! We'd also like someone who is a 'people person' because a big part of this job is getting colleagues and external partners on board, bought in to the systems and working in the same way. 

The appointed individual will set up, manage, control and continually evolve all project document flow in the CDE across all BIM enabled projects to ensure accurate registration, storage of drawings, specifications and all other project information. An important part of your remit would be training and coaching colleagues and external partners. You would then audit to ensure procedures and standards are being adhered to. The BIM Document Controller CDE Administrator will liaise with the external design teams, the site team, subcontractors, tenants and suppliers. Other responsibilities would include creating projects, creating new users and working with IT specialists in relation to the Common Data Environment. 

Projects will be London residential and regeneration schemes. 

We'd like to hear from people who are working for a developer, architecture practice, engineering firm or a main contractor. Candidates should be IT savvy and come with previous document control experience and an enthusiasm for working on BIM enabled projects. 

It's a top job with a top company. Salary up to £50K basic. Agile working practices are in place.
