Permanent Quantity Surveyor job, Site and office based - Care Homes build, Competitive salary and package
Your new company
You will be working for an established privately owned Nottinghamshire based Contractor as they continue to grow their commercial team. The role will be working as Project QS based both on site and in the office. Due to the locations of projects candidates would need to be able to travel to North West or West Midlands as part of the role. The organisation have a very strong pipeline of work particularly in the care home sector.
Your new role
You will be reporting into the Commercial Director and actively overseeing a 60+ new build care home project either based in the West Midlands or North West. You will need to have a good understanding of Subcontract package management and understanding of JCT Subcontract Payment Cycles. You will be responsible for cost management and budgets / forecasts on the projects. The position will require significant stakeholder management and as such strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in the role you will need to have significant new build experience and JCT contract understanding. You will ideally hold a Degree Qualification in a related discipline and a strong work ethic. It would also be advantageous to have experience of working on care home projects but this is not essential. Owing to the locations of projects you will hold a full uk driving license.
