Your new company

As a Building Surveyor you will be working to provide a full property maintenance service for the organisation.
This role offers a fairly immediate start, long term contract, fixed working hours and minimal travel around Dundee.

Your new role

In your new role as a Building Surveyor you will be assisting in the procurement and maintenance of contracts for the supply of maintenance services, implementing and monitoring of routine inspections for the maintenance of buildings and assist with, when necessary, in the supervision and coordination of the servicing and development of industrial estates. You will also be tasked with the monitoring and control of income and expenditure and preparation of budget reports along with the control of the department system for jobs and, or, repairs instructions. As part of your role your will ensure that the department implements and manages a full health and safety regime for all properties that it is responsible for.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll need to have a proven track record in working in a Building Surveyor capacity with knowledge and understanding of dilapidations, condition surveys, contract analysis and defect analysis. You must hold relevant industry qualifications such as degree/ diploma in Building Surveying. In addition to your core technical skills you must have strong IT skills and be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders and you must hold a full UK driving license due to travel involved
