Senior Quantity Surveyor

Your new company
A thriving specialist contractor working in the civils and highway sector are seeking a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a project based in Birmingham.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the successful deliver of the project whilst reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor. The works involved include infrastructure, roads, 278 works, drainage, earthworks and groundworks. Other duties will include: presentation of monthly CVR reports, adhering to the companies government procedures, delivering and developing margin improvement plans and subcontract ITTs, production of subcontract agreements and administration of subcontract accounts to final account.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience and completed works in a similar sector. Identifying, valuing and agreeing variations, including claims for Extensions of Time, acceleration and delay & disruption, resolving subcontract accounts, Internal valuations and CVRs. Access to your own vehicle is essential. you will hold the relevant surveying qualifications.
