Project Surveyor - Property Company - Midlands

This real-estate investor is looking for a Project Manager like you to join their small Midlands-based team.

You'd be the first Project Manager in the company, taking ownership of any and all of the project work that goes on within their portfolio, and that work is varied and wide-ranging in both size and sector. Covering such areas as offices, retail parks, warehouses and residential schemes, your project skills will be put to the test as you look after the smaller schemes yourself such as some refurbishments of office blocks and warehouse units, but then also managing the processes of larger new-builds or re-purposing schemes up to £20m in size.

It's a small team of people you'd be joining, so being able to work in a small, close-knit office in the centre of Birmingham is important. You need to have a consultancy / private practice background for this role, maybe MRICS chartered but it's not essential, and you can be from a building surveying, quantity surveying or pure project background. What is essential is the experience and confidence to be able to take over the ongoing project work and deliver on a quality finish, not just the cheapest and fastest.

Salary is negotiable, but the bonuses are excellent to inspire collaboration and focus in the team.
