Permanent Site Manager job Derby, Commercial Projects - Regional Contractor up to £45k + Package
Your new company
You will be working for an established family owned main contractor that are based in the Derbyshire area. The company have a strong pipeline of local work in the East Midlands across a range of sectors. The company are now looking to add a Site Manager to their operational team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that have their people at the centre of what they do.
Your new role
You will be reporting into the MD and Contracts Manager overseeing commercial sites in a range of sectors including schools, student accommodation, leisure facilities, crematoriums, care homes and care homes amongst others. The role will be a hands on site presence checking that the projects are being completed to the correct standards, liaising with office staff to call off materials, checking drawings and completing take offs if required. You will be overseeing the programme of works and recording the progress on site and keep on top of health and safety.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will have a strong commercial site management background and enjoy working as part of a team. You will hold CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid Qualifications. You will be hardworking and possess strong communication skills. The role may also suit a Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager as they look to take the next step in their development.
