Your new company
I'm currently working in partnership with a recognised national 5 star housebuilder that is committed to providing customers with the best service and quality of home possible whilst delivering designs that are sympathetic to the surrounding architecture and environment. Due to increasing demand for the high quality homes they produce, they have a requirement for a talented Senior QS to join their established commercial team.

Your new role
Your daily duties will include compilation of regular commercial reports to directors and senior management, maintaining tight cost control of projects under your control, shortlisting and interviewing potential subcontractors, administration of subcontractor accounts, attending project meetings and assisting the commercial manager with other ad hoc duties on quality residential developments across the south-west.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you'll be qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS card, have a proven track record in a similar role, be methodical and accurate in your commercial management of projects, be highly articulate and able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders on any project and be familiar with Building Regulations, NHBC and HSE requirements.
