Your new role
Hays is the dominant player in the Construction sector and we work with all the major construction companies and local subcontractors across the UK. Our Cambridge business is no exception. Due to our growth in the region, our business is expanding and we are now looking to recruit Recruitment Consultants to work in our Cambridge Office. In Cambridge we have a fantastic team, strong and supportive management, true expertise and a great culture, where your peers will truly encourage and support you in reaching your career goals. When working in the office, you will be located in an idyllic setting, only a 10-minute walk from the train station in one direction, and in the other the fantastic scenery of Cambridge's renowned colleges for lunchtime walks and an array of fancy venues ideal for celebrating your successes!
The role will see you managing the 360 recruitment process, working with both candidates and clients. Winning new business, sourcing new candidates and building and maintaining professional relationships is all part of your day to day duties here at Hays. You will also be responsible for advert writing and interviewing your own candidates and will be given both KPI's and targets to achieve.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a successful sales person, you should be able to demonstrate what it takes to build and maintain a solid client base and how to be proactive with difficult to find candidates. You should be ambitious, proactive and inquisitive, and should show a genuine interest in the construction industry. It is essential you hold a valid driving licence and are eligible to work in the UK.
