Quantity Surveyor job for a specialist healthcare construction business in Manchester, QS / Senior QS, £50-60k

This is a growing SME, specialised in the healthcare construction sector. They build hospitals, doctors offices, and fit out specialist areas like Clean Rooms and Operating Theatres. The company has over 20 years of success delivering New Build, Refurbishment and Addition projects to healthcare organizations around the UK. Due to continued growth, and a gap in their commercial team they are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Your new role
This is a Senior Quantity Surveyor job dealing with construction projects from £500k to £25M in value. You would be responsible for the full project lifecycle working with the Preconstruction team on assessing initial projects through to setting up projects for success through budgeting and scheduling. You will agree contracts with Subcontractors and clients, and be responsible for regular job costing reports. Ultimately you will close out contracts and final payments to complete projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a commercial construction role, ideally working on Healthcare, Education, or large scale high rise / mixed use projects. You will be able to commute to an office location in south Manchester on a regular basis. You will have a degree, or equivalent qualifying you to perform QS works.
